Our Purpose
We believe in a world where every person deserves a new life through recovery: Stability, Structure & Support are the keys to freedom. Please help us by providing the resources to help us maintain our recovery houses that provide these services.
In fall of 2020, New Life House opened in Athens. This is a women’s recovery residence that helps women, of all ages and backgrounds, find freedom from substance abuse, maintain gainful employment, practice responsible habits, and enjoy restored or redefined family relationships.
This kind of work (purpose) doesn’t come with a lot of money. We provide all groceries for the residents, all utilities, wifi and television, and all household products like toilet tissue, paper towels, cleaning supplies, bed linens, etc. We also strive to keep a clothing closet to offer the residents at no extra cost when they are in need.
I want with all my heart, to keep the doors open and beds available for women to continue to make a home here, while they learn to navigate recovery and join or rejoin society as a valuable, contributing member.
We believe New Life House has barely scratched the surface of the potential it has to positively impact our community in a huge way.

Sponsor a Resident
You can get involved today by sponsoring a resident . Your sponsorship helps pay their first months rent while the resident is looking for employment. Sponsorship is a one-time donation and is needed for each resident to start their journey at a recovery house.
Give Scholarship
Your gift will help help women in need with necessary resources; food, rent and clothing. Many women are seeking to return to school and earn an education. Scholarships offers the promise of a brighter future.
Community Support
The support this program offers to women seeking recovery and a safe place to live is a vital resource for our community. These women now have a safe place to start and continue their journey to a new life.
